I would say 11 or 12 is a good time to start dating.
There really is no set age when people should start dating, unless one has been established by your parents.
I would say that people shouldn't start seriously dating until they are around 11-12 years old, but that is my opinion.
Opinions differ about this question, even the children/teenagers themselves have varying answers as seen below.
At any age their parents say, however don't keep it a secret from your parents.
Some people even prefer not to date anyone except when they start a real relationship.
I think that you can start dating once you know what love is. That would be up to the parents to decide, and may vary depending on their assesment of the child's maturity as well as their own ethical beliefs. Most teenage dates do not result in sexual activity, but it is important that they are aware of the risks and issues.Listen, if you like somebody, the first step is to get to know the person. Then third, if you're old enough, you ask him/her out.If they refuse to let you start, tell them they cant keep you the 8 year old they want you to be forever. Gremioman : First don't listen to this guy he doesn't know what he is talking about, when ever you want to start dating girls is perfectly fine, you could even start dating in first grade for all anyone cares, it's all up to you.Ex means the relationship is over and he may have moved on in his life and started dating again. As much as it has left you heartbroken the reality is that you should start going out with friends; get back out in the social world and start dating again yourself.
